City Beach
The city beach (Gradska plaža) is the largest beach in Makarska and covers around 2km of the coastline. It offers a pebble beach, clear sea, pine tree shade, sporting and recreational activities, and has amenities such as catering, entertainment and lifeguard monitoring.
Osejava Beach
Plaža Osejava is the closest beach to Villa Sandra, just 5 minutes walk away, located right next to Hotel Osejava and the nightclub Deep Makarska.
Osejava Forest Park
Perfect for hiking and biking, the Osejava Forest Park offers panoramic views of the coast and sea as well as beach access to Nugal Beach.
Makarska Promenade
The Makarska Promenade wraps around the city’s bay and offers restaurants, bars and excursions to nearby islands. You can also follow the walk further through the city behind the City Beach.
Co-Cathedral of St. Mark the Evangelist
A baroque church and former cathedral in the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska located in the city centre on Andrija Kačić Miošić Square built around 1700.
The Shrine of Vepric
Wooded Catholic pilgrimage site featuring a Lourdes-inspired cave with an altar and a statue of Mary, built in 1908 and founded by the Bishop of Split and Makarska, Juraj Carić.
